Thank you for your interest in the Amaranth Womyn's Message Boards. We hope you will find them fun, as well as enlightening. And, like any forum, we have rules, too. Below is a brief rundown of what will and will not be tolerated. Please keep in mind this is a positive thing for us all. Please read before posting to the boards.
1. Please, no cursing or colorful language, it isn't necessary and only takes away from the enjoyment of these boards. Besides, the program will delete the word.
2. We will not tolerate flaming, foul or lewd remarks, name calling, queer-bashing, or any other socially unacceptable behavior.
3. We discourage people from posting phone numbers and addresses, other than email or webpage addys.
4. When entering into a debate, please keep it a debate and not a battle of wills. Agree to disagree if necessary. We all have differing opinions and judging one another is not our job.
5. Please refrain from habitually posting the same idea or topic. Each thread should be broad enough to cover your opinion on the matter without having the need to start a whole new discussion topic.
6. Please keep your posts short and to the point. This does not mean there is no room for humour or sharing. Monologues may be subject to deletion, especially if one poster continually goes on and on and on. These boards are not meant to be taken over by any one member, they are for all of us to enjoy and participate in. We encourage upstart writers to please use forums that are more geared to their needs. You may certainly post as often as you like, this is certainly not discouraged.
7. In short, this forum is like any other, let's keep it clean, fun and respectful of eachother.
Amaranth Womyn retains the sole right to delete any post that it deems in violation of the above rules, or any that we haven't quite thought of yet. Additionally, we are capable of banning your ip if violations are persistant, however, we certainly hope that it never comes to that.
Again, please keep in mind these measures are taken to ensure enjoyment of this forum by all.
